Standard Staircase – from £550

The standard staircase price is based on a straight staircase with up to 12 steps. Additional steps, turns, landings and complex shapes will be quoted separately.

The service can include:

- Measuring the floor area
- Inspection of the existing floor and subfloor
- Installation of laminate or click-vinyl flooring
- Installation of underlay
- Cutting flooring around door frames and corners
- Installation of beading or scotia
- Installation of threshold and transition strips
- Installation of stair flooring and suitable stair-nosing profiles
- Minor adjustments to internal doors where required
- Final finishing work
- Clean and tidy completion

Please note that the prices shown above are starting labour prices only.

Flooring, underlay, beading, stair-nosing profiles, threshold strips, adhesive and other materials are not included. Materials will be calculated separately according to the measured floor area and the products selected by the customer.

Removal and disposal of existing flooring, major subfloor repairs, floor levelling, damaged floorboards, moisture barriers, herringbone patterns and specialist flooring installations will be quoted separately.

The final price will depend on the total floor area, the type of flooring, the shape and condition of the room, and the preparation required.

The free inspection includes measuring the floor area, checking the condition and level of the subfloor, and carrying out moisture testing where required.
